Playground Xtreme is the first safety surfacing to offer technology that reduces static, resists germs and reflects heat; making it the only playground surface available that eliminates the most challenging issues.
The unique yarn mixture used to manufacture Playground Xtreme, sold exclusively through XGrass, features Static Block, proven to reduce static build-up on the playground surface. This advanced technology is engineered into the fiber so there is no concern about it wearing off over time or use. The yarn also contains Heat Block Technology to reduce the amount of heat that can be absorbed into the turf blade by up to 17.5°F. The system is then infilled with Envirofill, which features Microban antimicrobial technology for an added level of protection against bacteria, mold, and mildew.
